19/9/12 - Key highlights for week commencing 2nd September: The key highlights included 90036 working a Royal Mail postal train (1s96) between Warrington and Sheildmuir dragging class 325s and 90044 was hired to Virgin Trains.

19/9/12 - Key highlights for week commencing 9th September: The key highlights included 90049 being stopped out of traffic at Crewe LNWR for the entire week for repairs. In addition, 90044 was back on hire with Virgin Trains this week.

21/9/12 - 90048 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64: In the early hours of the 21st September 2012, 90048 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.

22/9/12 - 90044 in trouble on 4S88 between Ipswich & Scotland: In the early hours of the 22nd September 2012, 90044 encountered technical issues north of Crewe whilst working 4S88 which required the train to be rescued.

24/9/12 - 90035 in trouble on Scotrail Sleeper 1S25 at Beatock: In the early hours of the 24th September 2012, 90035 came to a stand on Beatock with traction motor issues. The 90 needed to be pushed by 66302 to Beatock Summit.

25/9/12 - 90018 in trouble on Scotrail Sleeper 1S25 at Crewe: In the early hours of the 25th September 2012, 90018 encountered technical issues in the Crewe area whilst working Scotrail Sleeper service 1s25 and needed rescuing.

28/9/12 - 90041 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64 : In the early hours of the 28th September 2012, 90041 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.

30/9/12 - 90035 in trouble on Scotrail Sleeper 1M11 at Glasgow: In the early hours of the 30th September 2012, 90035 was in trouble again this time whilst working Scotrail Sleeper service 1m11 in the Glasgow area and needed rescuing.

30/9/12 - Key highlights for week commencing 16th September: The key highlights included 90003 being used as a thunderbird engine at Greater Anglia vice-DRS class 47 in addition to 90048 being hired to Virgin Trains by Freightliner.
