23/11/12 - 90039 works extra freight train vice booked traction: Today 90039 worked the Wembley to Daventry cargo wagon train of 6B41 and 6A42 - this did result in some wagons being left behind as the 90 has weight restrictions.

23/11/12 - 90043 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64: In the early hours of the 23rd November 2012, 90043 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.

25/11/12 - Key highlights for w/c 18th November 2012: The key highlights from w/c 11/11/12 included 90008 being stopped at Crewe for overhaul, 90045 was hired to Virgin Trains and 90048 suffered loss of line light at Beatock.

26/11/12 - 90029 moves to Toton for painting on 26th November 2012: DBS moved 90029 from Crewe to Toton via Bescot today in order to be painted into the new DB Red livery - the 90 were dragged from Crewe by 66041.

30/11/12 - 90049 turned via the Manningtree Triangle to a defect: Owing to a defective sander at one end of the loco, 90049 needed to be turned via the Manningtree Triangle to and from Ipswich - this does happen from time to time.

30/11/12 - 90044 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64: In the early hours of the 30th November 2012, 90044 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.
