01/5/12 - 90006 moved to Crewe from East Anglia for overhaul: As part of the ongoing overhaul programme, 90006 was tripped to Crewe today via the West Coast by 57007.

04/5/12 - 90049 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64: In the early hours of the 4th May, 90049 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.

05/5/12 - Key highlights for week commencing 22nd April 2012: The key highlights for this week included 90029 being in store at Crewe in the WNTR pool and 90042 was out of traffic at Crewe for fire damage reps.

06/5/12 - East Coast Scotrail Sleeper Diversions: On Sunday 6th May 2012 the Scotrail Sleepers were diverted via the East Coast due to planned engineering work on the West Coast - all sleepers in both directions were affected.

10/5/12 - 90043 works private charter to & from Liverpool Lime Street: On the 10th May 2012, 90043 worked a private charter between Liverpool-Euston-Liverpool using the Virgin Trains MK3 set (WB64).

13/5/12 - Key highlights for week commencing 6th May 2012: The key highlights for this week included the sleepers being routed via the East Coast; 90006 was stopped out of traffic at Crewe for overhaul & 90043 hired to Virgin.

14/5/12 - 90010 in trouble near Kelvedon & needed rescuing: On the morning of 14th May 2012 Greater Anglia 90010 expired in the Kelvedon area and subsequently needed rescuing by a DRS class 47 .
