13/3/13 - 90029 visits Tweedmouth on ECML driver training: In order to prepare for diversions over the ECML DB used 90029 today as a light engine movement between Edinburgh and Tweedmouth to refresh their drivers.

14/03/13 - 90024 & 90045 used for driver training on ECML metals: As part of the ongoing programme to refresh drivers at DB and Freightliner on the ECML, 90024 and 90045 were in action today south of Edinburgh.

14/03/13 - 90036 works weekly tyre turniung train between Polmodie & Shields: Scotrail used 90036 today between Polmodie and Shields running as 5D90 for the weekly tyre turning train which involved some MK3 coaches.

15/03/13 - 90021 & 90043 used for driver training on ECML metals: As part of the ongoing programme to refresh drivers at DB and Freightliner on the ECML, 90021 and 90043 were in action today south of Edinburgh.  

16/03/13 - 90018 works first class 90 railtour of 2013 travelling out of Euston: The first railtour of 2013 involving a class 90 ran today which came in the form of DB red 90018 & ran between Euston & Preston in addition to 67026.

18/03/13 - ECML driver training using DB 90s during w/c 17th March:  For the 2nd week running DB used a handful of 90s including 90029 on driver training runs between Edinburgh and Tweedmouth to refresh their drivers.  

20/3/13 - 90048 in trouble in the Stafford area whilst working 4L60 to Ipswich: In the evening of today 90048 encountered technical issues in the Stafford area which resulted in the train being rescued by 70004 which took it forward.

21/3/13 - 90029 in trouble at Edinburgh prior to working sleeper train south: In early hours of this morning 90029 was declared a failure at Edinburgh prior to working 1M16 to Euston which resulted in the deployment of another 90.

22/03/13 - 90043 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64 for driver training: Virgin hired 90043 today from Freightliner for use on WB64. The 90 and set of stock worked a driver training run between Wembley and Crewe via Euston.
