02/3/12 - Key highlights for week commencing 19th February 2012: The key highlights for this week included 90015 being stopped at Crewe for overhaul purposes in addition to 90001 returning to traffic after a spell of being stopped.

02/3/12 - 90045 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64: In the early hours of the 2nd March 2012, 90045 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.

06/3/12 - 90041 hired to Greater Anglia for one day only: In a surprise move 90041 was hired to Greater Anglia today and worked a empty stock movement from Ipswich to Norwich after 90012 expired at Ipswich & the set needed moving.

06/3/12 - 90026 reinstated to traffic after a spell of being stored at Crewe: On the 6 March 2012, 90026 was reinstated to traffic from the WNTR Pool to the WEFE Pool - the 90 had been stopped at Crewe for a few weeks.

07/3/12 - Key highlights for week commencing 26th February 2012: The key highlights for this week included a number of class 90s being stopped at Crewe for Greater Anglia, DBS and Freightliner. Engines were 90015, 90026, 90029 etc.

07/3/12 - 90018 in trouble on Scotrail Sleeper service 1s25: In the evening of the 7th March 2012 ran into trouble whilst at the helm of the Highland sleeper 1s25 bound for Edinburgh. The train was rescued by sister loco 90024.

08/3/12 - 90015 dragged from Crewe to Crown Point following overhaul: On Thursday 8th March 2012, 90015 was dragged back from Crewe to Crown Point by 47810 following the successful completion of her planned overhaul.

09/3/12 - 90049 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64: In the early hours of the 9th March 2012, 90049 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.

11/3/12 - 90028 & 90035 work in a pair on a freight train vice-92/66: The Cargo wagon freight train of 6B41 & 6A42 which operates between Wembley and Daventry and is booked a class 92 or 66 was replaced by a working pair of 90s.
