15/6/12 - 90044 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64: In the early hours of the 15th June 2012, 90044 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.

20/6/12 - 90005 in trouble at Haughley Jcn with Greater Anglia: On the morning of the 20th June 2012 there were disruption on the mainline route between Norwich and London caused by the failure of 90005 at Haughley Jcn.

20/6/12 - Key highlights for week commencing 10th June 2012: The key highlights for this week included 90003 being moved from Crown Point to Crewe; 90044 was hired to Virgin Trains and 90019 had ETH issues in Scotland.

22/6/12 - 90048 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64: In the early hours of the 22nd June 2012, 90048 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.  

22/6/12 - 90001 on thunderbird duties at Colchester vice booked traction: Owing to fleet issues the thunderbird loco came in the form of 90001 today which went to Colchester from Crown Point vice the booked DRS class 47.

23/6/12 - Flooding north of Carlsile causes disurption to Sleeper train: In the early hours of the 23rd June 2012, 90018 was in charge of the Lowland sleeper from Euston to Glasgow which was terminated at Carlisle due to flooding.

28/6/12 - Further sleeper disruption caused by flooding on West Coast Main Line: The sleeper services in both directions were severely disrupted on 28th/29th of June which included diversions via alternative routes i.e. S&C.

29/6/12 - 90046 hired to Virgin Trains for use on WB64: In the early hours of the 29th June 2012, 90046 was hired to Virgin Trains from Freightliner and initially ran light engine from Crewe to Wembley depot to be attached to WB64.

29/6/12 - 90029 reinstated to traffic at Crewe EMD: Today 90029 was reinstated back into traffic from the WNTR pool to the WEFE Pool having spent a long period stopped at Crewe for poor wheelsets - she returned with modified ones.
