15/01/13 - 90002 & 90012 in top and tail mode due to DVT fault: In a surprise move, 90002 and 90012 were out today in top and trail mode all day  due to a fault with DVT 82152. The duet worked the 1p00 diagram until late evening.  

17/1/13 - 90036 visits Sheilds Depot near Glasgow: A tyre turning train runs between Polmodie and Shields on an ad-hoc basis - the first known working for a class 90 came in the form of 90036 which did 5D90 (outward leg).

20/01/13 - 90018 released from Toton following paint job & tyre turning:  On a snowy day 90018 was dragged back from Toton via Bescot to Crewe EMD by 67030. The 90 was released in DB red livery and joins 90029 in same colour.  

21/01/13 - 90018 re-enters traffic with DBS in new livery: After arriving back at Crewe yesterday from Toton, today the 90 re-entered and her first service train was the Garston to Wembley car train (6L48). She then went onto work 1s25 next.

24/01/13 - 90012 involved in operating incident on 1p15 near London: This morning 90012 and a set of stock were on the approach to Liverpool Street on 1p15 when two carriages jumped the track, but remarkably re-railed themselves.

25/01/13 - 90043 in trouble near Harold Wood on 4M45: Owing to an ADD activation issue, 90043 needed to be rescued by two class 66s. The first one went as far as Wembley and was then replaced by 66563 which took 4M45 to Crewe .

25/01/13 - 90008 finally re-enters traffic with Greater Anglia: Having been stopped out of traffic for 3 months, 90008 finally re-entered traffic today with Greater Anglia starting with the 07:05 NRW-LST (1p13) service & remained out all day .

25/01/13 - Overhead wires come down at Wigan causing much disruption: In the late evening the Overhead wires came down in the Wigan area which caused disruption including the diversion of Scotrail sleepers via Manchester.
