This is a shot of 90042 at Carlisle in the original BR RfD livery on a service train heading north to Scotland.
This is a historic shot of 90004 with small fleet numbers seen at Carlisle in Intercity livery. The date is an unknown, but I suspect late 1980s when it was new.
On the 12th July 1988, 90003 is seen arriving at Euston with the first ever class 90 passenger working. The 90 in question worked this Blackpool Nth service from Preston.
As new 90008 went to the IVA88 exhibition in Hamburg in a convoy of other exhibits including a class 91. Note that 90008 is the only 90 to have been abroad. Picture courtesy of D Coxon.
This shot of 90032 in Mainline livery was taken at Carlisle in the middle road where it awaits its next duty. Picture was taken in the early 1990s.
Looking rather clean, 90007 has been pictured standing in the middle road between platform 15 and 16 at Euston. Note the old style light fittings.
Owing to engineering work on the WCML in the early 1990s, several services were diverted into St Pancras. One of the 90s that went to this terminus was 90015.
Looking very smart in the original BR RfD livery, 90038 is seen arriving at Lancaster with a uid service heading south from the north.
