ECML sleepers - 25th April 11
This is a collection of 90s on West Coast sleepers routed via the ECML Sunday on 25th April filmed at York station.
On morning of 2nd May 2011 90028 was filmed working the diverted Highland Sleeper 1M16 over East Coast metals. This video was taken only a few days after 90028 was reinstated.
90024 & 90029 - 30th May 11
Owing to engineering work on the WCML, the FSR sleepers were diverted via the ECML on the 30th May 2011. This video features 90024 and 90029 in action on the diversions.
On morning of Friday 5th August 90024 worked the 07:22 Kings Cross to Prestonpans rail charter 1Z90. It is seen here departing from York following a crew change.
90039 -12th July 2010 (1)
On the 12th July 2010 as the class 90s entered their 22nd year of passenger operations, 90039 is recorded passing through York with the diverted 1M11.
ECML sleeper diversions 2010
During the summer of 2010, the West Coast sleepers were routed via the ECML for a 3 month period on Sunday nights. This is a compilation album of some those 90s involved.
Owing to engineering work on the WCML, 90036 was captured passing Welham Green with 1M16 on the morning of 16th August 2010.
On the morning of 11th March, 90043 heads back north away from York bound for Mossend due to driver route training on the ECML.
