19/12/12 - 90044 works historic footex charter on ECML using WB64: In order to get fans to Leeds, a special footex charter ran today using WB64 and 90044. These trains ran between Kings Cross-Wakefield-Kings Cross.

19/12/12 - 90018 in trouble at Carstairs on Scotrail sleeper 1B26: On the morning of the 19th December 2012, 90018 was declared a failure at Carstairs prior to working 1B26 to Edinburgh - the 90 was rescued by another DB class 90.

21/12/12 - 90044 works private charter train from Watford to Wigan: Early this afternoon 90044 worked a private charter train using WB64 from Watford Jcn to Wigan Nth Western. The stock returned ecs to Wembley travelling via Preston.

21/12/12 - Key highlights for w/c 9th December 2012: The key highlights from w/c 9/12/12 included 90029 working her first service train in the new DB red livery and 90043 needed rescuing at Manningtree by another class 66 due to ice.

22/12/12 - 90044 works private charter train from wigan to Watford: Early this afternoon 90044 worked the return leg of a charter train using WB64 from Wigan to Watford. The stock went to Wigan ecs from Wembley via Euston and Preston.

22/12/12 - Key highlights for w/c 16th December 2012: The key highlights from w/c 16/12/12 included 90044 working a charter train on the East Coast using WB64 and 90008 continued to be stopped out of traffic at Crown Point depot.

23/12/12 - West Coast sleepers diverted via the East Coast Main Line: On the 11th December 2012, 90029 was released from Toton and got dragged back to Crewe via Bescot. On arrival at Crewe she quickly entered traffic with DB.

30/12/12 - Key highlights for w/c 23rd December 2012: The key highlights from w/c 23/12/12 included the sleepers being diverted via the East Coast which involved 90019, 90026, 90036 and 90039 plus 90028, 90029 and 90035.

31/12/12 - Reliability issues hit Greater Anglia during w/c 30th December 2012: During this week there were a number of the GA 90s out of traffic for one reason or another - at one point units were being used to substitute the fleet of 90s.
